This is a great cookbook. I had surgery in June and use it almost daily. So helpful during my early stages to give me variety in my diet. It breaks up the food in stages and tells you what is appropriate for each stage of post op. I haven't found a recipe that I didn't like yet! Well worth the money!

This cookbook is amazing! What I love about this is in the beginning of the book there is a guide for all the phases. It really helped me having a sample menu for each phase. Following that was an amazing assortment of cooking delights! I have cooked many things using the helpful tips in this book. I highly recommend this to anyone. On a side note I had friends and family use the same recipes who have not had the surgery and loved it.

You want this cookbook, and her first one too! Sarah's second cookbook is just as wonderful as the first. I recommend this to anyone, not just bariatric surgery patients but anyone who is looking for healthy options! I hope there's more to come in the future! A kids' cookbook perhaps?

I would give it 5 stars but it doesn’t have pictures.

I love this book.Pros - It actually follows my doctors recommendations through the phases very similar.The menu or items it lists are not crazy, they are actually down to earth simple recipes.I will not eat everything in this book, but it opened up so many more options that are actually GOOD.Many of the items, my family will/can eat with meDoesn't make me feel isolated in the food area.Cons- I wish there were more recipes.

No pictures of the food in it not the sellers fault but would have been nice to say so. I cook using pictures and then use the recipes.

This book is a must for everyone who is contemplating surgery or who has had it already. It goes through all stages of the diet post-op as well as excellent recipes.

Bermuda offers a warm slice of Britain just a couple of hours by air from the U.S. East Coast. This updated Fodor's travel guide has plenty of information to plan a trip. Just a heads up: Bermuda is small, expensive, and sometimes crowded. Planning ahead is a good way to have a great vacation.The book opens with an introduction to Bermuda and its geographic layout. Following are sections on where to eat, where to stay, and what to do while there. There is some practical information on how to get around an island where outsiders may not rent a car, and may not want to rent a scooter. Of note, the guide has a terrifically readable section on cruise lines. Bermuda is known for its golf, scuba-diving, and some high end shopping. There is lots of surviving above ground history, especially the former British Navy Dockyard on the west end of the island, and a number of interesting museums. And it has a different flavor than its counterpart destinations in the Caribbean. The guide and Bermuda itself are highly recommended.

I’m going to Bermuda on a cruise. Picked this up to have a hard copy it’s excellent very readable. It even has a section on cruises! It’s got good information for people on budgets also. Really glad I chose it.

This was purchased as a gift for my son who was planning his first cruise to Bermuda. It was a fun and informative guide for a first-timer heading to the island. Needless to say, the section on cruises was a highlight. He was looking for the perfect beach and the highlights for their two days on the island. I think the Fodor's guide was great for his purposes! It was nice to see it on his coffee table and being read.

Unfortunately there is no DK Eyewitness guide to Bermuda. The Fodor's guide is OK but there are very few pictures. Not as easy to navigate or use. If you need one, it's better than nothing but if I had a different choice of guide, I would not buy this one again.

It says full-color travel guide which I thought would mean color. It is about five pages of color pictures that's it all in the front the rest of it is not in color

My husband is enjoying reading this book on Bermuda. We go in March so he'll be all set with details!

About the Author

David Smith was born in 1906, in Decatur, Indiana. After spending time at Ohio University and Notre Dame, he moved to New York, where he studied at the Art Students League. In 1931 and 1932 in the Virgin Islands, Smith made his first sculpture from pieces of coral, and in 1933 he began making completely metal sculptures. His first solo show was held at Marion Willard's East River Gallery in 1938. By the late 1950s, The Museum of Modern Art was presenting a Smith retrospective and organizing a major traveling exhibition. Smith died May 23, 1965 in an automobile accident. His work has since been presented at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Here is an overwhelming book on an overwhelming artist. I was speechless when I saw the exhibit, and I remained so when I opened the catalogue. A definite must-have. The book is a comprehensive survey of Smith's career with an in-depth look at his series (especially notable is the uncompleted Cubi series, large-scale works which, due to their size, are rarely seen together and which constitute the apex of the artist's work).High-quality reproductions (seldom the case with books dealing with sculpture), breakthrough texts...too bad you can't touch the works!

I just saw the show at the Guggenheim and was stunned by the clarity of Smith's vision and how it evolved. He changed the nature of modern sculpture, one work at a time...and gave new meaning to poise, frame, gesture, implication, and force. I looked at the book there and it was just too much to carry back on the plane, from NYC to Seattle, with all of the other books I picked up. So I am pleased to find it here, and for a great price and no shipping cost. I look forward to receiving it and being awed again and again.
