I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in the subject. For those entering the field of simulation and training, this book is a must have.
This is an exceptional book for those with an interest n Similation. The author does an exceptional job in introducing simulation technologies and applications so that the layman can easly comprehend concepts. Provides an interesting history of modeling and Simulation and it's impact on our lives.
This book provides a unique and interesting perspective of the world of simulation as seen through the eyes of this simulation expert. He describes how an early childhood interest in cardboard aviation trainers eventually evolves into a highly successful career in simulation, modeling, training and education. This book provides little known facts concerning the history of simulation, the current state of the industry and the author's insight into its future. The book also provides many of the author's personal experiences in simulation, is well written and holds the readers interest.
I have been working in the Modeling and Simulation(M&S) Industry for over 40 years and I have never found a book that explains the use of Simulations in such laymans terms that would be understandable to a majority of the readers with no M&S background. The author did a nice job of walking the reader through the history of simulators and simulations. Thanks Hank!!
